What is the use of artworks insofar as their vocation is no longer to be "picturesque"? What incidence do they have on our political and social lives?
We will question the positions adopted by the art world in the face of key societal issues. At the heart of the philosophical workshops, we discover artists who amalgamate notions of arts and politics.
Each session will centre on one theme, offering a theoretical axis and focusing on a projection of artworks.
The 6 themes broached throughout the season:
- Art & environment
- Art & margins
- Art & frontiers
- Art & conflicts
- Art & gender
- Art & money
Children from 4+ accompanying their parents may attend an art workshop at the same time (upon reservation).
