Following its success in 2016 and 2018, Papier Carbone is returning to Charleroi for its third edition. The idea of Corinne Clarysse and Nicolas Belayew, key players in the "6001 is the new 1060" collective, the festival takes place both in BPS22 and at the Vecteur.
In the course of a weekend, you can discover the work of numerous artists, collectives and editors evolving in disciplines ranging from engraving to screen printing, by way of book binding, risograph printing etc. Around forty artists, from all over Europe, will set up shop in the halls of the Museum to present their limited-edition prints (engravings, books, postcards, fanzines, posters etc.). Throughout the weekend, different workshops will be organised to introduce you to the techniques of the printed image.
