Hush, listen !Philosophical teatime
This season, Maud Hagelstein offers to take you on a journey to discover contemporary works of art created with all life forms, building bridges to the world of other living beings.
We shall contemplate works of art that drive us outdoors, into strong winds; tempting us to go outside and change our view of the animal kingdom. The invisible or barely visible also count among the living. Beings that live underground: insects, earthworms, fireflies. What does Tomás Saraceno do when he asks us to listen to spiders? What sort of silence is needed for these encounters? How do artists help us to build a new capacity to listen? What kind of spotlight do they shine on miniscule creatures?
