Spend lunchtime at the BPS22 enjoying a unique and quirky look at a well-known figure talking about the sources for their inspiration, from the most obvious to the most surprising: unexpected passions, unusual lectures, hidden talent, an absurd collection and so on.

Born in Charleroi to a Belgian mother and Italian father, Mélanie de Biasio has become one of the most remarkable figures on the Belgian jazz scene and beyond. From the Ensemble de l'Harmonie de Charleroi to the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, her journey is widely known and often mentioned in the media. At the encounter she will talk to us about other aspects of her journey, from her trepidation of the city to her love of cycling, taking in her Italian granny's cooking on the way. A wide variety of experience emerges, each one contributing to the distinctive range of her art in its own way.
