THE INSTALLATION, a new approach to space

A term which came about at the end of the 1960s, the instal­la­tion now encompasses a large range of artistic inter­ven­tions which can include other mediums such as painting, sculpture or video. And what if, when it comes down to it, the instal­la­tion was nothing more than an extension of the traditional domains of art and their surrounding space?
