Accords Excentriques

Exhibition

Stemming from the collaboration between the Chamarade Domaine départemental and the BPS22, the Accords Excentriques show was founded on an observation that many contemporary works draw their inspiration from music (with its codes and clichés). A selection of works of the French Community thus allowed to report the relationships and influences between fine arts and rock, pop, disco, electro or punk music, exploring the way music generates images and attitudes.

Between musical culture and references to the history of art, the show not only offered a selection of pieces of the Chamarande Domaine départemental but ten or so other pieces in a display in which the works rubbed” against one another. Italian artist Davide Bertocchi was invited to perform a specific performance with local winger Glavidio D’Ignoti.
