Happy art/counts for nothing...?!

PETIT MUSÉE

Nothing makes sense!” It’s ugly”, A five-year-old could do it!” Contemporary artists don’t have the know-how”, Contemporary art is violent and provocative”… these are all often heard, common misconceptions that the Petit Musée is trying to dispel through a selection of works from the Province of Hainaut and BPS22 collections. This exhibition takes a playful approach to contemporary art, showing it concerns all of us.

The Petit Musée is a space for learning within the BPS22, where works are displayed at a child’s eye-level. The space invites children to enter into a dialogue with the works and to converse with other generations as they walk through it together.
